PAD-A-GIRL

Menstrual Hygiene & Awareness

PAD-A-GIRL Programme

Menstrual Hygiene, Awareness & Dignity

Menstruation is a natural part of every girl's life, yet many adolescent girls still grow up with hesitation, myths and limited access to menstrual hygiene products.

Through our PAD-A-GIRL Programme, Rising Sparks Foundation works with girls and women in communities and schools to make conversations around menstruation more open, practical and stigma-free.

Our sessions focus on menstrual hygiene, safe use and disposal of sanitary pads, personal hygiene, nutrition and breaking common myths and taboos. We also distribute sanitary pads to girls who may find regular access difficult.

So far, our programme has reached 10,000+ girls and women through awareness activities and menstrual hygiene support across West Bengal, with camps conducted in communities and educational institutions.

Our aim is simple: No girl should feel ashamed or miss school because of her period.
